Create a world where the day-to-day burdens of walking the cancer journey are alleviated and our patients and families can focus on treatment, recovery or managing any other difficult prognosis.
Ensure that patients and their families understand the disease and ask their medical team the right questions.
Work with religious groups to ensure that patients and families are encouraged to have a pray and act attitude towards cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Ensure that patients and families have information on services and benefits they are eligible for.
Provide practical help such as companionship, shopping, light domestic work etc, to make life manageable for families during a cancer journey.
To raise awareness of cancer through outreach programs, social media activities, conferences etc.
To work reach BAME communities who present late and are more likely to have a poor prognosis to help them to understand the importance of presenting early to improve prognosis.
We are also developing a sister charity in Zimbabwe where there is great need for cancer awareness and support and we are guided by the policy to support other charities with 5% of our income.
